That is worth stating because it is not universal: in higher-volume practices the intake meeting and the file handling are done by different people, and clients often do not meet their actual lawyer for weeks. Zayouna Law Firm is built the other way round. The team spans personal injury, long term disability, medical malpractice, employment and commercial litigation, and between them the lawyers and staff serve clients in several languages, with interpreters arranged where the firm does not speak a client’s language.

Joseph Zayouna founded the firm in 2003 and leads its personal injury work, representing seriously injured Ontarians in motor vehicle, slip and fall and catastrophic injury claims. Samiya Ahmad leads the employment practice, covering dismissal, severance, workplace harassment and human rights matters. Sam Gebrael leads commercial litigation and dispute resolution, called to both the New York and Ontario bars. Anthony Windwar leads medical malpractice. The firm is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
